ZapBoomBang Studios, a Houston-based, video post-production and recording studio, recently partnered with Lopez Negrete Communications for “ZBB: The Force for Toys,” their holiday 2015 campaign in support of Toys for Tots, the U.S. Marine Corps’ holiday charity that distributes Christmas gifts to less fortunate children. Inspired by the biggest sci-fi movie release in this galaxy, ZapBoomBang Studios tapped into the creative force of their editors and brought along award-winning art directors from Lopez Negrete Communications. Each artist put their own original, artistic spin on a classic piece of movie memorabilia, creating a one-of-a-kind work of art. Each helmet, like the ones pictured, features a custom, hand-crafted design with inspiration taken from various art styles and subjects. From henna ink work to steampunk to nature, there’s a helmet for any collector’s shelf. You could own one. And do something good in the process. From Saturday, December 12 to Friday, December 18, the general public will be able to bid on 22 art pieces, with all auction proceeds going to the national Toys for Tots charity fund. All art pieces are viewable at www.zbbtheforcefortoys.com.
