According to Nielsen’s May sweeps survey, WRDM Telemundo Hartford commanded more than half of the audience in Monday through Sunday primetime (7pm-11pm) among coveted demos, adults 18-34 and 25-54. The station increased its ratings delivery by +50% among adults 25-54 and doubled its delivery among adults 18-34 for the same time period from last sweeps.

Telemundo Hartford’s credits its primetime success to the popularity of its nightly lineup. Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar led in the 7pm timeslot, with almost two-thirds of the Hispanic viewing population in both adults 18-49 and 25-54. The popular court show was #4 among all stations in the market, regardless of language, with adults 18-34. Additionally, Brazilian novela Avenida Brasil at 8pm and Super Series El Señor de los Cielos at 10pm delivered at least half of the Spanish-language viewing audience. WRDM Telemundo also dominated weekend primetime with the third installment of the Telemundo hit, La Voz Kids. The singing reality competition was the highest-rated Spanish-language primetime program during May sweeps in key demos, commanding almost 100% of the Hispanic audience. “We at Telemundo Hartford/Springfield consider it both our privilege and responsibility to serve our local communities by providing audiences with top-notch programming and being actively involved in our community,” commented Brenda Mulero, Station Manager. “We are very pleased that these strong ratings results confirm that our community is engaged with our programming and we are delivering strong audiences for our clients.”
