Organizers of Hispanicize 2016 today announced that veteran multimedia host and music industry insider Vanessa James returns for the fourth consecutive year as the co-director of the event’s music festival in conjunction with Music Director and Hispanicize Partner, Katherine Johnson Gunn.

With past collaborations including the performances of acclaimed artists Luis Fonsi, Jesse & Joy, Chino y Nacho, Gente de Zona, Carlos Vives, La Santa Cecilia, Sheila E, Danay Suarez, James’ goal is to continue to grow the music track, which includes the signature Artist on The Rise Stage, music panels and concert performances.

“It’s been a joy to watch this platform flourish and evolve into one of the most anticipated tracks within the 5-day event that is sought after by both labels, artists and brands each year over year. Curating experiences like Hispanicize is at the heart of my brand, so I’m excited to be able to give my audience a behind the scenes perspective on the end-to-end music experience of #Hispz16,” said James.

Carefully curated panels, artist performances, exclusive Q&As and brand activations all sync during the week long track of music activities set for Hispanicize week April 4th- 8th.

“Our dedication to the enhancement of the Latin music space is an important one. Vanessa recognizes the importance of serving as an industry voice for artists, labels, and independent entrepreneurs looking to expand their social reach and transcend audiences. It’s always a pleasure to work with those who share in your vision.” said Katherine Johnson Gunn.

In addition, to curating the music festival, James is impacting Hispanicize by leveraging her relationships with brands such as: Hennessy, Monster Products, and Microsoft, all of which will be activating at Hispanicize this year for the first time.
