Univision Communications will be the lead presenting media partner of Hispanicize 2012, the annual Latino trends event scheduled for Miami, April 11-13, at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
“Univision’s prominent role at Hispanicize 2012 will be a boon to the talented speakers, cultural influencers, filmmakers and sponsors involved in this unprecedented event focused on Latino trends and trendsetters in social media, entertainment, marketing and media,” said Manny Ruiz, the event’s organizer and creative director.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to Hispanic America, we are thrilled to partner with Hispanicize for the 2012 event and have the opportunity to further extend the reach of this growing community – across the board,” said Monica Talan, senior vice president of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, Univision Communications.
Leading up to the event, Univision will leverage its TV, radio and interactive platforms to highlight Hispanicize 2012’s efforts. During the event, Univision’s beloved and leading personalities will participate as celebrity interviewers of key Latino innovators that will speak at the event.
In addition to Univision, Hispanicize 2012’s growing roster of media partners/sponsors now includes Latin Heat Media, Fox News Latino, Getty Images Hispanic, AdWeek, Hispanic Market Weekly, LatinVision and the National Association of Hispanic Publications.
Hispanicize 2012 is expected to host several hundred Hispanic journalists and Latino bloggers as the three-day event will include press conferences, celebrity interview opportunities, newsworthy programs and even professional development workshops tailored specifically to traditional Latino media and bloggers.
Now in its third year, Hispanicize 2012 (#HISPZ12) is a partnership of the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), Hispanicize and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Well done, Manny! Best of luck.
