To kick off the start of the Univision Deportes 100 day countdown to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, Univision Communications Inc released “Tu Mundial Está Con Univision” (Your World Cup Home is Univision) .With an extensive array of programming, coverage, analysis, technology offerings and digital resources in the Company’s history, Univision is leveraging its sports, news and entertainment platforms for the next 100 days leading up to and during the 31 days of the World Cup. Univision’s coverage of the World Cup tournament includes the live broadcast of all 64 matches as well as live pre and post game coverage from 12 cities in Brazil delivering 24-hours of World Cup for 31 days across all platforms.

Former international soccer athletes Marcelo Balboa, Mauro Camoranesi, Ramón Ramírez and Hristo Stoichkov will join the Univision Deportes team, including Alejandro Berry, Jesús Bracamontes, Jorge Calvo, Lindsay Casinelli, Félix Fernández, Fernando Fiore, Ivan Kasanzew, Edgar Martínez, Pablo Ramírez and Luis Omar Tapia, among others.

UDN will also present a series entitled “Leyendas del Mundial” — 100 hour-long condensed classic soccer matches from every World Cup that will take viewers on a walk through the World Cup’s glorious past. Each week, Monday through Friday, will be dedicated to a past World Cup, starting today with the 1966 tournament in England, and culminating every Sunday night with the airing of the official FIFA Films documentary from that World Cup. In addition, 100 A-Z of World Cup vignettes and short clips covering every pivotal moment, play, and memory of past World Cups will air across networks and on digital.
