Time Warner Cable hosted a party last week at The Baseball Center in Manhattan to celebrate the Caribbean World Series. The event included a donation to the Inwood Little League and featured guests baseball legend, Bernie Williams, baseball Hall of Famer, Juan Marichal and famous radio DJ, JI Starr, who served as Master of Ceremonies.

Bernie Williams and Juan Marichal conducted baseball clinics with the Inwood Little League kids, distributed autographed baseballs and delivered remarks about Time Warner Cable’s donation to the Inwood Little League, which included athletic equipment such as catcher’s gear, a batting cage and a pitching machine. In addition, Inwood Little League kids who attended the event received a Time Warner Cable gift certificate to support their enrollment in their League in the upcoming season. To wrap up the event, attendees enjoyed ESPN Deportes’ viewing of the Caribbean World Series’ Mexico vs. Dominican Republic.

Also as part of the Caribbean World Series celebration, Time Warner Cable conducted a national sweepstakes via the Mi Cultura Facebook page. The lucky winner and three of his guests are currently enjoying the Caribbean World Series in Puerto Rico.

Time Warner Cable customers will have access to view four full games of the Caribbean World Series on Time Warner Cable’s Lo Mejor On Demand channel under the ESPN Deportes category, at no cost.
