The Latino Coalition Applauds Confirmation of Maria Contreras-Sweet as Head of Small Business Administration
Today, The Latino Coalition, a leading advocate for Latino-owned, small and mid-sized businesses, applauds the confirmation of Maria Contreras-Sweet as the head of the Small Business Administration. TLC Chairman and Former Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Hector Barreto, made the following statement:
“We congratulate Maria Contreras-Sweet on her confirmation and are confident that her firsthand knowledge of running a small business makes her extremely well-qualified and poised to be an effective US Small Business Administrator,” Barreto said. “Maria’s vision and leadership will help the future prosperity and economic well-being of this nation and TLC looks forward to working with her and the agency to expand opportunity for small business, the backbone of our economy.”
