DALLAS, TX – A Texas non-profit organization is offering bilingual educational workshops to Hispanics parents, encouraging them to get more involved in their children’s schooling as a way to reduce drop-out rates.
The “Parents Step Ahead” or “Padres un paso adelante” educational-outreach initiative was launched four years ago by the founders of the weekly El Hispano News, one of the oldest Spanish-language newspapers in North Texas. To read the full story click here.
