Telemundo Media announced today it named Patty Marrero Senior Vice President of Client Partnership Development. Marrero will report to Dan Lovinger, Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales & Integrated Marketing for Telemundo Media, and Enrique Perez, Senior Vice President of Sales for the Telemundo Station Group. She will be based in New York.
In this role, Marrero will oversee all new client development and enterprise selling activities for Telemundo Media, including Telemundo Network, Telemundo stations, mun2 and all digital properties. Working closely with internal stakeholders and business units, she will formulate new business and partnership strategies, as well as develop and direct all strategies for client development and marketplace deployment.

Marrero joins Telemundo Media from Vme Media Inc., where she served as Senior Vice President of Network Sales from 2010 to 2012. As a member of the executive team, she was responsible for all national advertising and sponsorship revenue for Vme, overseeing all sales operations and the national sales team for the network and its website. Marrero also managed the go-to market strategy, upfront sales strategy, digital sales strategy, pricing and planning, and trade marketing for the network.
Prior to joining Vme, Marrero spent 14 years (1996-2010) at Univision and Galavision where she held various executive positions in network sales, moving from Director of Sales to Vice President, Director of Sports Marketing and then to Vice President of Client Development in 2010, where she was charged to sustain and grow business across all of the network’s divisions, including television, radio, online and mobile.
