Last night’s broadcast of the highly-anticipated finale of Univision’s primetime hit “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel; M-F 9pm ET/PT, 8pm Central) reached 9.4 million viewers who tuned in to all or part of the program. Delivering its highest-ranked telecast since its premiere, last night’s airing of “Soy Tu Dueña” averaged 7.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 4.0 million Adults 18-49, 2.1 million Adults 18-34 and 2.5 million Persons 12-34.

As part of the network’s powerhouse primetime novela block (which also includes the original production “Eva Luna”), “Soy Tu Dueña” helped Univision become the #1 broadcast network in the time period as well as for the entire night (8-11pm) among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men and Women 18-49, Men and Women 18-34, and Persons 12-34, among other key demos, regardless of language. Since its premiere in June 2010, “Soy Tu Dueña” has delivered an average audience of 5.4 million Total Viewers 2+, making it the most-watched Spanish-language novela in U.S. television history.

Due in part to the strength of this novela – featuring popular actress/singer Lucero (Valentina) alongside superstar Fernando Colunga (Jose Miguel) and antagonist Gabriela Spanic (Ivana) –Univision is reporting double-digit percentage growth during broadcast prime (M-Sat 8-11pm, Su 7-11pm) among Adults 18-49 (+13%) compared to ABC‘s (-8%), CBS’ (-1%), FOX’s (-15%), NBC’s (+1%) and CW’s (+4%) in the current 2010/2011 Season versus the same period in the 2009/2010 Season. Additionally, Univision is also showing year-over-year audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+11%) and Total Viewers 2+ (+9%).
