Schwartz Media Strategies, continues to expand its core service lines with new investments in key personnel. The firm has added seasoned communications professional Yanet Obarrio Sanchez as a vice president and Julia Bennett as an account executive.

                    

The new additions at Schwartz Media Strategies coincide with a period of steady growth for the Miami-based firm. New clients include Walmart, Jones Lang LaSalle, the InterContinental Miami, Espacio USA, Miami Science Museum, and Pinnacle Housing Group. The company was recently recognized as one of the largest public relations agencies in South Florida by the South Florida Business Journal as determined by annual revenues. The Daily Business Review named it one of the region’s top three public relations firms in its inaugural “Best of” feature.

In her new role as Vice President, Yanet Obarrio Sanchez leads public relations and marketing campaigns for the firm’s real estate, hospitality and consumer clients. With a decade of in-house and agency public relations experience, she brings a strong communications background in the nonprofit, banking, energy, real estate, business-to-business and consumer sectors. Prior to joining Schwartz Media Strategies, Obarrio Sanchez spearheaded all public relations and social media efforts for United Way of Miami-Dade. She previously served as a primary media contact and spokesperson for Florida Power & Light (FPL) and was a member of Washington Mutual’s national public relations team.

Obarrio Sanchez graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communications.  She is a member of the United Way Young Leaders and Women’s Leadership groups.
