República was bestowed 6 silver ADDYs for its creative excellence, 5 of which were awarded for the Adrienne Arsht print campaign “Get Inspired by the Arts” and the other for Univision’s Es el Momento campaign, during the American Advertising Federation District ADDY Awards ceremony held on April 30, 2011 at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel. The district awards are the second level out of three levels in the ADDY competition.  These wins make the campaigns now eligible to be judged at the National ADDY Awards Show and Gala, which will be held in San Diego, California on June 4, 2011.

This year marks the second consecutive year República competes for national ADDYs.  In 2010, the agency won 7 ADDY Awards in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale chapter and then went on to win three District Four ADDY Awards (Florida, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico), which automatically qualified República’s entries for the national competition. República won two prestigious 2010 National ADDY Awards.

In 2011 República was recognized with 22 local ADDY’s.  The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest creative competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions in 200 cities coast-to-coast. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
