PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is hosting an in-depth, professional development luncheon presentation January 27 titled “Best Practices in Hispanic PR & Media Relations.” The program will feature Hector Plasencia, senior director of Multicultural Marketing for Qwest Communications International.

Placencia is a highly-respected Phoenix-based professional with a track record of success in multicultural marketing. His presentation will feature some of Qwest’s secrets for success including insights, tactics and tools for execution and measurement of a successful Hispanic market public relations program with a concentration on media relations. Tips on setting goals and benchmarking Hispanic initiatives also will be discussed.
