The PRSA Diversity Committee is pleased to offer the free webinar, “Diversity: A Matter of Gender or Style?” on Friday, Aug. 27. Presented by motivational speaker Mimi Donaldson, this enlightening and hilarious webinar will focus on the different communication and organizational styles of men and women.

Do you gnash your teeth in frustration or savor the differences with humor? Your effectiveness as a professional is only as good as your ability to respond to all kinds of styles. Mimi’s upbeat presentation will focus on how to stop blaming the person whose approach is different from your own and start bearing it with a grin.

Webinar attendees will:

•    Understand how communication differences based on gender are enhancing, not inhibiting.
•    Identify style differences based on gender, such as problem solving, relaxing, socializing, concentrating and the benefits of mutual respect.
•    Learn how to be specific about what you want, especially with the opposite sex.

Please note that the registration form will request your credit card information, but your card will not be charged.

Please be advised: the registrant only will receive an e-mail confirmation that gives instructions for accessing the presentation. If you do not receive your confirmation within 5 days, please call (800) 350-0111.

  1. For the first time in awhile I must say that an article actually grasped my attantion to where I started to focus on those things that I never looked at. I think this entire article is amazing, because when you watch the differences in the way that the two genders perform or react to difffernt tasks, is very funny. I noticed that the men are way so much more easy going and relaxed in situations where confrontation is even encountered. The big difference in women is huge, becuase I noticed that they go through confrontations with eachother all day long, yet they cover it up with decietful smiles or a simple flip of the hair. I also noticed that the women are always stressing moreso on any little things then most guys do, so I think that it is very interesting to pay attention to those huge differences.
