Ragan Communications and PR Daily have announced their 2013 Media Relations Awards, spotlighting the best work of media and public relations professionals around the globe.
These awards have expanded to give more chances to showcase communicators’ skills and gain world-wide recognition for the individual practitioner, his or her company, agency or client.
The awards are open to in-house, agency, or independent communication practitioners in the corporate, private, nonprofit and government sectors. Candidates are invited to enter their work, the work of their PR team or entries submitted on behalf of a client. Companies from around the world are welcome to enter. Any work executed between January 1, 2012, and August 23, 2013, is eligible.
This year’s program has 30 categories ranging from Best Press Release and Best Press Event to Best Brand Journalism and Best Response to Breaking News. Successful media relation campaigns of varying sizes and a grand prize for Media Relations Campaign of the Year will also be awarded.
In addition to trophies, the winners will receive publicity in a special edition of PRDaily.com, read by more than 1 million visitors from around the world every month. The winner of each category will receive a voucher for a free registration at any Ragan conference, event or training workshop in 2013 or 2014.
The person or team that takes away the Grand Prize, Digital PR Campaign of the Year, will also receive a one-year membership to Ragan Training—an online training library featuring hundreds of hours of the best content from Ragan events. Find out more about the site here: http://ragantraining.com/
