On Wednesday, March 2nd the Hispanic Public Relations Association New York Chapter and Porter Novelli’s Hispanic Marketing Practice hosted “Meet the Media: Digital Divas” panel that featured from left to right Marcela Sarmiento from AOL Latino’s Tu Voz en Tu Vida, Elizabeth Mateo from Casa Naranja, Lizbeth Cardozo from La Cosmopolatina and Rosa Alonso from My Latino Voice. Hispanic public relations, media and marketing executives not only enjoyed networking during the event, but also engaged in a discussion about differences in editorial approach of online vs. print outlets, best and worst pitches and specific content that resonates with Hispanic audiences. Sonia Sroka, senior vice president and director of Hispanic marketing at Porter Novelli, welcomed the guests who represented leading organizations including Univision, MTV Tr3s, Telemundo, Consumer Reports, American Heart Association, AOL Latino, Vanguard Comm, Axis, Edelman, Coyne PR, MultiVu and more.
