Pinta, a full-service agency reinventing the art of cross-cultural marketing, has named Sarah Garrido as Account Manager at its New York City office. She was previously Marketing Manager for Donald J. Pliner, the internationally-recognized footwear and accessories company, where she led public relations and marketing initiatives. Before that she had been at Burson-Marsteller in Miami.
In making the announcement, Lauren Cortiñas, Managing Director of Communications at Pinta, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome a professional with Sarah’s unique background and strategic communications experience to lead a very important account portfolio for our growing agency.” Garrido will handle a variety of cross-cultural clients, including T-Mobile, Nat Geo Mundo, FOX Life and Perfumania.
Garrido holds an undergraduate degree from Florida International University in public relations, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing at New York University.
