Lupe De la Cruz, Senior Director Government Affairs, PepsiCo, spoke during the LULAC Women’s Luncheon recognizing the contributions made by Latinas to the U.S., and applauding the achievements of the of the women selected for induction to the LULAC Women’s Hall of Fame. His remarks touched upon his company’s commitment to Hispanics through La Promesa de PepsiCo, a corporate initiative focused on supporting Hispanic education and promoting healthy and active lifestyles for Latinos and their families. “From our LULAC scholarship contributions to our sponsorship of LULAC’s Latinos Living Healthy program, we want to help you fulfill your mission of advancing the economic condition, educational attainment, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population,” he said.

 

 

Jaime Montemayor, SVP and CIO, Frito-Lay North America, participated as a speaker in the NCLR National Affiliate Luncheon during the 2012 NCLR Annual Conference. Montemayor spoke about La Promesa de PepsiCo and the company's contributions to the advancement of education and leadership within Latino communities across the nation.
As part of La Promesa de PepsiCo, the company participated as a sponsor at the 2012 NCLR Annual Conference and National Latino Family Expo, held in Las Vegas.
