The National Hispanic Entrepreneurs’ Organization (NHEO), announced that it’s Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation will partner with Echoing Green as a Fast Track Search Partner.

“We are pleased to be an Echoing Green Fast Track Search Partner,” said Juan Pablo Giometti, President and CEO of NHEO Inc. “This is a great opportunity for social entrepreneurs who want to turn their ideas into reality. This partnership is another step forward in our mission of fostering entrepreneurship and social innovation.”

Since 1987, Echoing Green has provided seed funding and support to nearly 500 social entrepreneurs – including the founders of Teach For America, City Year, College Summit, SKS Microfinance, and Genocide Intervention Network. In Spring 2011 Echoing Green will award between 12 and 20 fellowships to early-stage social entrepreneurs. Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding over two years, operational and technical support, and access to a powerful global community of fellows and alumni. High-potential entrepreneurs nominated by NHEO will qualify for the second round of the Fellowship program application process, as well as receive guidance and technical assistance during the application process.

The application process will remain open until November 15th, 2010. For more information and to apply for a 2011 Echoing Fellowship, visit www.nheo.org, www.facebook.com/nheo.org, or call 704-909-7945.
