Cuba-born Telenovela star William Levy is partnering with NASCAR Productions and its Entertainment Marketing division to produce a non-scripted docuseries about Hispanic race car drivers.

The series will focus on the challenges the drivers face as they try to make it in NASCAR, the biggest motorsport in America. The project will follow the drivers as they strive to make names for themselves within NASCAR while also trying to make it in America. NASCAR Productions, Levy and Gladys Gonzalez will produce this project. CAA will package the project. The show will be pitched to networks next month.

Levy’s Spanish-language Triunfo Del Amor (Love’s Triumph) was the most watched scripted series on American television. On the film side, Levy appeared in Lionsgate’s Addicted and next will be seen in Universal’s Term Life alongside Vince Vaughn.

“I’m truly thrilled about partnering with NASCAR and I can’t wait to show my fans worldwide this creative endeavor,” said Levy.
