Moguldom Media Group (“MMG”), announced today that the company has bolstered its leadership team and expanded its online Hispanic media presence with the launch of Dr. Christian M. Gonzalez has been named Chief Revenue Officer, Sarah Muñoz as Deputy Editor of LatinaMadre, Sugey Palomares as Deputy Editor of Lossip, and Evelyn Melendez-Payne as Hispanic Sales Specialist.

As the Hispanic market continues to surge, now representing the fastest growing population in the United States, MMG is uniquely positioned to engage this dynamic media savvy population, which represents annual buying power of $1.3 trillion. The vast majority of U.S. Hispanics today are no longer first generation, but American-born and hungry for content that bridges their Hispanic roots and American identity. In launching its Hispanic division, MMG has bilingual content delivered across online, video, mobile, tablet and social media channels. This cross-platform strategy has contributed to the company’s sites being top-ranked among African-American properties for unique monthly visits, monthly page views and average minutes per visit by comScore. MMG is rolling out its Hispanic websites with the same authentic voice and character successfully deployed for its African-American properties, pulling this time from the Hispanic community and addressing Hispanics’ unique tastes, needs, interests and passions.

Leading these efforts is Dr. Gonzalez, an industry veteran who has built a strong reputation managing multicultural digital media divisions for Digilant and BET. Gonzalez and team will oversee MMG’s vertical and emerging markets, focusing on accelerating revenue growth for MMG’s existing sites (BossipLossipMadamNoireStyleBlazerMommyNoireHip-HopWired24WiredTV,AfkInsider, and Moguldom Studios), as well as  developing and scaling offerings and revenue across current and future Hispanic properties. The team will work to build out the Hispanic division to help overcome the challenges many advertisers face today reaching and engaging with America’s growing Hispanic population at scale.

“The strategic appointments we have made to address the U.S. Hispanic consumer underscore our rapid growth and evolution into the leader in multicultural digital media,” said Jamarlin Martin, chief executive officer, Moguldom Media Group. “This new team brings a proven track record in Hispanic digital media and the necessary combination of experience and innovation to cement the Moguldom brand among our growing Hispanic audience.”

LatinaMadre is the Hispanic counterpart to MMG’s popular African-American destination for moms, ‘MommyNoire.’ LatinaMadre will focus on parenthood, health/fitness and pop culture. This new bilingual website is geared towards millennial mothers. LatinaMadre is the second website to launch following the successful debut of ‘Lossip’, the Hispanic version of the companies’ #1 entertainment destination Bossip.
