Lynette Spano epitomizes the American Dream. A charismatic and influential business woman, speaker, mentor and mother, her Latino heritage and life story is one of true passion, determination, success and inspiration. She is best known for her entrepreneurial success as the CEO and President of SCI Consulting Services, a $50 million dollar IT consulting company she started out of her mother’s basement in Brooklyn, NY in the 1980s. Today, SCI is one of the most recognized female and Latina-owned IT companies in the country.
Recently, she founded Stars, Stripes & Hearts, Inc. (SSH) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing awareness and financial support to Latino and Hispanic servicemen and women suffering from the invisible wounds of war, traumatic brain injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In addition, she’s created the SSH “Virtual Wall of Honor,” an online gallery that allows friends, family and loved ones to upload photos of a serviceman or woman in tribute to their service.
