National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed 15 September through 15 October, is a time to recognize the presence of Hispanics on this continent. Hispanics were among the first to settle in the New World, which predates the founding of our Nation, and their descendents have had a profound and lasting influence on American history. This occasion presents an excellent opportunity to acknowledge their dedication, commitment and outstanding contributions in arts, politics, government, industry, academia the military, and sports. In observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month a cultural event will be held at La Tolteca restaurant at La Quinta Inn, on Saturday  October 1, from 7:00 pm midnight.
