Bluefin Media named Ana Cristina Enríquez as the new Fashion and Beauty Editor for its Spanish sites, es.DIYfashion.com and es.HighFashionMagazine.com. Ana joins the team as its strategic advisor for editorial content surrounding style, beauty and fashion.
Ana graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and was honored with the Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University. Ana is a talented multimedia journalist who brings additional depth to Bluefin Media’s editorial strength and fashion vertical, which includes its English anchor sites DIYFashion.com, The Beauty Girl.com, and HighFashionMagazine.com.
As a multimedia journalist with more than 15 years of experience, Ana is set to create the captivating content that Bluefin Media’s Spanish visitors read each day. Her involvement in the industry ranges from translating the syndicated service of the New York Times to hosting the live broadcast presented by Hispanic national network V-Me: “Noche de Mexico,” which is part of the Mexican Independence Bicentennial.
Before joining the Bluefin Media team, Ana Cristina was a New York-based contributor for Grupo Reforma, the leading print and web news media outlet in Mexico. In addition, she was the executive producer and host at V-Me’s news department, where she covered the recent election. More recently, Ana was the web editor for Telemundo’s local digital unit in Miami, Florida. She also covered various fashion events including New York and Miami fashion weeks, red carpets and movie junkets.
