Training Center Advances Educational Attainment with Seminar Hosted by Maria Antonieta Collins

P&G and its Tide, Downy, Gain, Bounty and Pampers brands are announcing a $250,000 donation to LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) to continue supporting free resources, like English and computer classes, for Hispanic women at the P&G-LULAC technology center located at the local LULAC.

As part of the activities funded by the donation, P&G and LULAC are teaming up with well-known Mexican journalist, TV host and best-seller author Maria Antonieta Collins to bring the free P&G-LULAC life improvement seminar to the LULAC center on Friday, June 10 at 5:30 pm. The center is located on 3522 Polk Street.

Open to the public, the seminar will give attendees information and resources to help them simplify their everyday household routine, as well as tips on how to get the best value for their money without sacrificing quality.

In addition to the P&G-LULAC center at LULAC in Houston, P&G also supports another center in Los Angeles at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), located on 2845 West Seventh Street, as well as one in Dallas at LULAC, located at 345 S. Edgefield Ave.
