
La Comunidad Hispana is hosting a series of workshops for entrepreneurs, the organization announced on Friday. It is the second year the group has offered the workshops, which will focus on helping people start a business or improve their existing business. The series is entitled “How to Succeed as a Latino Entrepreneur.”
The bilingual eight-week seminar series will be offered by the Kutztown University Latino Business Resource Center, starting September 16th. The first meeting will start at 6 p.m. at La Comunidad Hispana, 731 West Cypress St., in Kennett Square. The sessions will be held every Tuesday through Nov. 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. The seminars will cost $50, and topics will include business planning, marketing, financial models, bank products, insurance and legal and zoning regulations.
