ZGS Communications is proud to announce that KTDO Telemundo 48 was recognized at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Lone Star Chapter’s 13th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards. KTDO received two Emmys this past Saturdayat the JW Marriott in Austin. This is the fourth consecutive year that Telenoticias El Paso is honored for excellence in journalism and production.

Telenoticias El Paso‘s first time winner Video Journalist Chantal Sansores won in the category Feature News Report – Light Feature/Series report Oficios Con Madres. Antonio Favela, Sports Anchor is recognized for a third time bringing an Emmy home for his sports series La Diva De La Lucha in the Sports – News Single Story/Series category.

These recognitions confirm the commitment that Telenoticias El Paso has to bring top quality reporting to our local community. KTDO Telemundo 48 has continued to dominate in El Paso.  The station has been the primetime leader among several key demographics for the second year in a row. KTDO Telemundo 48 led all stations in the market, regardless of language, Monday through Friday 6-10pm among adults 25-54. Telenoticias El Paso, KTDO Telemundo 48’s local newscast has also delivered double-digit growth in its audience from last year at both 5pm and 10pm among Adults 18-49 and 25-54.
