The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation’s largest not-for-profit organization supporting Hispanic American higher education, announced today that Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is contributing$200,000 towards scholarships for the organization.

The contribution will be used to provide financial assistance to Hispanic students enrolled in accredited not-for-profit colleges or universities during the 2016-2017 academic year. The scholarships provided will help students cover costs, such as tuition, books, supplies and other essentials for the academic year.

This contribution ignites a partnership between Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. and HSF that supports the organization’s scholarship efforts. This year’s contribution helps HSF ensure that exceptional Latino students across the country receive the support needed to complete a higher education and become leaders in their professions and communities.

“We are pleased to renew our partnership with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.,” said Fidel A. Vargas, President & CEO, Hispanic Scholarship Fund. “This contribution demonstrates that the company is more committed than ever to the Hispanic community and higher education.”

“Our support of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund exemplifies Johnson & Johnson’s longstanding support for the Hispanic community,” said Wanda Bryant Hope, Chief Diversity Officer, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. “Our credo inspires us all to be a positive influence in the communities where we live and work.
