Joe Uva, Chairman of Hispanic Enterprises and Content of NBCUniversal, showed vision and leadership when he hosted the Telemundo and mun2 upfront this week in New York.
The event, considered one of the best for the network, presented a solid, creative and original Telemundo. Attendees received a luminous bracelet that lit up in different colors depending on the music playing with the content shown.
Uva emphasized his confidence in Hispanic innovation as he introduced the company’s two new presidents, Luis Silberwasser of Telemundo and Rubén Mendiola of mun2. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue producing content of the highest quality.
Jesús Torres, EVP of Programming and Content of Telemundo, echoed Uva’s sentiment with a jovial introduction of the 2014-2015 programming lineup. The new super series Señora Acero and Dueños Del Paraíso and the telenovela Los Miserables showed world-class production quality. The projection of the videos on a giant screen was impeccable, with clean and immersive sound.
