Agency Receives Gold IPG Inclusion Award
GolinHarris has been named Multicultural Agency/Practice of the Year and has received a Gold Inclusion Award from The Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE:IPG). The IPG Inclusion Awards were established to recognize agencies and individuals who are making a real difference by “walking the talk” on diversity and inclusion. GolinHarris’ Multicultural practice was recognized for achieving significant growth and establishing a stronghold in an emerging multicultural market.
Under the leadership of Zandra Zuno, executive director and leader of the agency’s multicultural practice, the practice has grown three-fold over the past three years, expanding its footprint nationally across the key markets of Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. Additionally, the team has secured significant client engagements that include multicultural relationships with Walmart, Kaiser Permanente, Nintendo, Crown Imports, Toyota and MetroPCS. Zuno and Julie Dixon, deputy managing director of the Washington, D.C. office, recently took over leadership of the agency’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts.
“It’s an incredible honor for our agency to be recognized in an area that is increasingly more important to our clients and the marketplace,” said Zuno. “Over the past years, multicultural marketing and a total-market approach have played an increased role across a number of clients’ businesses. At GolinHarris, we’re committed to ensuring that the agency has the best talent and capabilities that align with the shifting demographics and increasingly more diverse and multicultural market.”
