Guillermo Arduino, journalist and anchor of CNN en Español, spoke with PRODU about the digital revolution in the face of a lack of understanding of the power of the digital consumer. Now the industry is starting to react to this movement, and companies are paying more attention to what audiences want and which screens they use.
“In the digital revolution we’ve experience in the last period, there hasn’t been a good understanding of the power of the digital consumer, but in the last few years we’ve seen the industry react and try to close that gap,” he says.
Arduino pointed out connectivity is a very important aspect, ”because it gives us different platforms to distribute our content. The industry is realizing that there needs to be better connectivity and we need to understand how audiences consume content and how to cater to them, because if we don’t, someone else will. The competition is ferocious.”
