With 30% of their business related to safety, Industrial Supply created the new site to better reach their Spanish-speaking customers with resources and information. Hispanics currently have the highest on-the-job fatality rate in the U.S. While all other groups have declined or stayed the same, the fatality rate for Hispanic workers has continued to rise–up 3.9% in 2013, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The reasons are multifaceted, but language barriers contribute to the problems.
