In celebration of its 30th anniversary the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) today announced its call for entries for the 2014 National ¡BRAVO! Awards.
The HPRA National ¡Bravo! Awards was the rebranding of the HPRA Campaign of the Year awards program that honors the campaigns that PR agencies and companies execute to reach Latino audiences. These are a separate program from PRemios. PRemios is a Los Angeles based award given to individuals, such as PR Person of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Journalist of the Year, etc.
“As the organization continues its expansion with new chapters and members across key U.S. markets, the national board felt it imperative to rebrand the program to reflect that growth,” said HPRA National President Stephen Chavez. “The National ¡BRAVO! Awards celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, and non-profit PR teams, and the breakthrough work they produced during the entry period,”
There are only 12 categories available to enter. Categories include: Technology, Healthcare/Nutrition, Fashion & Beauty, Food & Beverage, Public Education, Sports, New Product/Service Launch, Pro-Bono, One-time Media Event, Integrated Marketing, Non-profit, and Digital/Social Media.
How to Enter
Awards categories are open to all public relations, advertising, and marketing agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations and/or practitioners who practice in the United States, including Puerto Rico. The entry process is easy as all materials are now submitted digitally.
Entries will be judged by an unaffiliated panel of senior public relations professionals from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami, representing industry national organizations and trade publications. Entrants will be notified of results by mid-September. Awards winners will recognized at HPRA’s 30th Anniversary gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014.
