The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), the leading non-profit organization founded to advance the careers of Hispanics in the field of communications, seeks nominations for leading industry professionals, corporations, and organizations for the coveted PRemio Awards. The organization awards top professionals, corporations and organizations in the industry that embody the mission and vision of HPRA. This year the award categories include PR Achievement Award, Young PR Professional of the Year, Journalist of the Year and Corporation/Organization of the Year. Nominations for the individual categories are currently being accepted through August 26, 2013.
In addition, entries for the coveted PRemio Campaign Awards are now being accepted through Friday, August 23, 2013 in 12 categories across multiple industries that highlight public relations work: Technology; Healthcare; Fashion & Beauty; Food & Beverage; Public Education; Sports; Media Event; Pro Bono; Product/Service Launch; Integrated Marketing Communications; Non-Profit; and Digital Public Relations Programs (Social Media). Work must have been done between June 1, 2012 and June 1, 2013. Award entry fees are $100 for members and $175 for non-members.
Awards entries are open to all public relations, advertising, marketing agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations and/or practitioners who practice in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and work on public relations/communications projects/campaigns that target Hispanic/Latino audiences throughout the nation. Entries can be part of a multicultural or general market campaign, but must have a Hispanic component and will be judged only on that component by an unaffiliated panel of seasoned communications experts, from academia to industry pioneers.
Campaigns and professionals of the year awards will be presented at the 29th Annual PRemio Awards & Scholarship Gala, October 23 at the new City Club Los Angeles.
