HolaDoctor announced the appointment of Ivan Salazar to the position of Senior Vice President of Technology. As such, Salazar will lead the entire technology team and the company’s corporate team.
Mr. Salazar joins HolaDoctor from Televisa Interactive Media, where he was responsible for all Web development teams managing over 100 online and mobile destinations. He began his career in 2000 launching Esmas.com, one of the largest portals in Latin America. He led the team responsible for developing and launching projects such as Televisa’s Content Management System for all web sites and affiliates, Tarabu.com, the first digital music store in Latin America, Tvolucion.com, a large video distribution and social networking portal, plus a sports portal and stats backend system and developed mobile versions for the iPhone, iPad, Android, and Blackberry of Televisa’s main web properties.
Salazar brings more than 15 years of intensive technical experience and an authentic and engaging leadership style guiding Web development teams for the online industry. He has also worked for media companies and content creators/distributors managing high volume traffic and massive distribution of digital content using innovating technologies.

In his new role, Salazar will also oversee HolaDoctor’s expansion of new products. In last August the company launched the Interactive Health insurance Center, a new online experience to provide Hispanic consumers with important up-to-date information about the new health insurance market and social support.
Salazar is a Cybernetics and Computer Systems engineer graduated of University of Lasalle (ULSA), Mexico City.
