In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and to officially welcome Hispanicize 2012 to South Florida, the Miami chapters of the Public Relations Society of America, the Social Media Cub and the Hispanic Public Relations Association  are uniting to co-host a free social media mixer, Wednesday, October 12 at Miami’s iconic Jungle Island.  The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Brands, PR and advertising agencies, bloggers and other social media influencers

WHEN: Wednesday Oct. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:  Jungle Island – 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail – Miami, FL

WHY:  To celebrate Hispanicize 2012 coming to Miami and honor Hispanic Heritage Month. Attendees will get a brief overview to them understand how they can get involved in the exciting new event that will be calling Miami its official home. Attendees will also be treated to a special social media treat courtesy of Hispanicize and Jungle Island.

COST: Free. Jungle Island will be providing light h’ordeuvres and one drink per attendee

  1. What has happened with the Chicago chapter?
    I signed up back in April (at LA’s HPRA conference) as one of many interested in working with and joining the Chicago chapter.

    It’s been 6 months now and not a word!
