This year’s Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) International conference, Oct. 15-18 in Orlando, will feature Hispanicize chairman Manny Ruiz and CEO Cristy Clavijo-Kish in a session titled “The Do’s and Don’ts of Marketing to Latinos through Social Media.”

Ruiz and Clavijo-Kish, co-owners of Latina Mom Bloggers and Being Latino, will discuss how marketers, agencies and not-for-profit organizations can best use Latino social media to engage Hispanic audiences online. The session will focus on tools, tactics and cultural considerations that are critical to success. Their session is scheduled for Monday, October 17 from 9:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Palazzo Salon C.

This year’s PRSA conference features dozens of case studies and other sessions on a variety of topics ranging from social media to crisis communications.
