Despite the rain that uncharacteristically poured over Los Angeles last night, nearly 300 Los Angelinos attended Hispanicize HX LA power networking event that took place at Mrs. Fish in downtown.
Hispanicize HX, the regional events platform of the national Hispanicize event that is due to take place April 4-8, 2016, counted on the support of three sponsors who seamlessly worked together to bring local Latino and multicultural influencers and unforgettable experience of networking, dancing, complimentary drinks and delicious appetizers..
As presenting sponsor of the night Mazda provided complimentary valet parking to the first 70 guests to arrive. This was a sigh of relief to those who would otherwise have had to park and walk in the rain. Octavio Navarro from Mazda addressed the crowd and shared Mazda’s #DrivingMatters philosophy and their support of Hispanicize’s mission to unify and empower Latinos.
It was Prudential’s second HX event as they also sponsored HX NYC the previous week. Vice President of Consumer Strategy & Key Initiatives Multicultural Marketing at Prudential, Dorinda Walker, was inspirational as she shared Prudential’s vision for Hispanicize’s Positive Impact Awards and the meaning behind the hashtag #PruPact.
As a long standing partner of Hispanicize’s national event, Fox Audience joined HX regional events for the first time as a supporting sponsor, highlighting various entertainment properties across several 21st Century Fox business units. Attendees enjoyed taking selfies on the step and repeat with writer and producer of Bordertown, Lalo Alcaraz and actors from the shows Bordertown and Empire.
In addition to sponsor activations, the crowd was filled with social media influencers, musicians, filmmakers, actors and PR and marketing professionals. There was a great mix of creativity, entrepreneurship and collaboration, with everyone networking while having a great time.
The night ended at midnight with salsa dancing, more picture taking, and lots of business connections. For pictures of the event visit www.Facebook.com/Hispanicize
