In an effort to support Latino bloggers with networking opportunities and the resources they need to succeed, McDonald’s and Hispanicize have teamed up to conduct a national Latino Blogger Breakfast Series that last week took place at McDonald’s restaurants in New York City and Chicago.
“We are honored to work with McDonald’s in this great project because McDonald’s is the first major corporate partner Hispanicize ever worked with and they are deeply committed to helping Latino bloggers excel,” said Manny Ruiz, organizer of Hispanicize 2012 and chairman of Hispanicize. “Time and time again McDonald’s has always been ‘presente’ for Latinos.”
“This program is important to McDonald’s because we are really interested in having two-way conversation with our customers, with bloggers, with moms…” said Cristina Alfaro, Communications Manager for McDonald’s. “Supporting Latino bloggers is important because they are the voice of our communities.”
As part of the breakfast series Latino bloggers are learning about how they can get involved in the upcoming Hispanicize 2012 event in Miami and are also receiving packets with information about the evolution of McDonald’s latest healthy, low calorie options for families.
The breakfast series continues in October with networking events slated for Dallas and Los Angeles.
