Last year there was explosive growth among niche communities online. Latina bloggers burst onto the blogging scene and received recognition from major brands like General Mills and Spanish TV network V-me.
Hispanicize 2011, the 2nd Annual Hispanic PR & Social Media Conference, hopes to capitalize on the momentum by hosting the first three-day conference devoted to Latina/o bloggers in the United States. The conference board is a who’s who list of Latinos in both the corporate world and the blogosphere including Carla Dodds, the Director of Multicultural Marketing at Walmart, presidents of agencies such as Edelman Digital, and popular Latina mommy bloggers such as Joscelyn Ramos, the founder of Mami Of Multiples.
The conference will feature top industry keynote speakers and more than 24 professional development sessions. Regular registration is $695 but a special rate of $425 is available for bloggers who have had an established blog for at least six months.
