The Nielsen Company is estimating the smallest increase in the past 10 years for the number of television homes this season.

In 2009–2010, 114.9 million US homes will have a television. The designated market area (DMA) with the largest increase in TV households is New York…Broken down by race and ethnicity, Nielsen predicts the number of Hispanic TV households will grow fastest between 2009 and 2010, with a 2.3% increase to almost 13 million.
