Our friends Sonia Sroka of Porter Novelli, the 2010 Chair of the Diversity Committee poses for a quick pic with Ivonne Couret, Co-chair of the international conference's host committee.

It was a busy week for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) this week as the world’s largest PR trade organization held their international conference in Washington, DC.  The Hispanic PR Blog had a terrific time networking with old and new friends as more than 3,000 marketing professionals descended in the nation’s capital for what was clearly one of the best PRSA conferences in recent memory.

Below are some phone and camera snapshots we were able to compile, including photos from a Diversity reception that featured our Latina friend Rosanna Fiske, CEO-elect of PRSA.  (This year’s conference host committee co-chair was also another Latina Ivonne Couret).

Formulatin President Michael Olguin did an amazing job during his conference session "Leveraging Hispanics' Passion to Create True Brand Experiences."

Overall it was a year of strong success for PRSA and its Diversity Committee as the organization partnered with the Hispanic Public Relations Association and the Hispanic PR Blog for the first annual Hispanic PR & Social Media Conference and the Diversity Committee chaired by Sonia Sroka, Hispanic practice leader at Porter Novelli, held numerous functions.
