Health Care in the Land of the Wealthy – Public Relations Tactics We Use to Effectively Communicate to Our Immediate and Surrounding Community.
As a public relations coordinator at a hospital, I have become privy to an interesting approach to public relations, and its use to bring together a diverse socio-economic population.
The immediate geography that surrounds the hospital is middle-to upper class individuals who are highly educated and status-driven (opinion). It is a small community with a lot of history and even more pride. Since we provide exemplary services, the hospital often receives patients from all across the county and beyond, making it a mixing bowl of everything from political leaders, to the homeless.
