General Motors was ranked number 10 in the annual Latina Style 50 Report: “50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work For,” evaluated and ranked by Latina Style Magazine since 2008.

“We’re so pleased to receive this recognition by Latina Style Magazine, as it reinforces GM’s commitment to women in the automotive industry and the significant contributions of Latinas and their increasingly essential role in our society,” said Grace Lieblein, vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. “GM is committed to global diversity and inclusion, which involves the ongoing support and encouragement of education, economic empowerment, and business opportunities,” added Ms. Lieblein.

The magazine started the Top 50 list in 1998, and since then GM has received the award for 14 years. GM has improved its standing, moving up from the 34th position on the list in 2012. Latina Style Magazine produces the LATINA Style 50 Report, which is an annual evaluation of corporate America’s sensitivity to Latinas’ needs and goals in the work place. The report is the result of an extensive search involving more than 1,000 of the most prominent corporations in the United States.
