LATISM Co-Founder/Latino Rebranded blogger Louis Pagan and Latina on a Mission mom blogger Migdalia Rivera have joined the executive management team of Hispanicize as co-founders of the soon-to-be launched Latino social media news content and networking platform.
“As Latino social media influencers and bloggers themselves, Louis and Migdalia bring a terrific amount of trust, credibility and innovative thinking to the company,” said Manny Ruiz, founding partner of Hispanicize and organizer of the national conference by the same name Hispanicize 2011. “To our brand marketer, agency and Latino/a blogger friends our message is that no one will work harder to earn and keep your trust daily. You will know us by our fruits.”
The mission of Hispanicize is to provide the Latino social media industry with a complete resource that includes more in-depth news, webinar trainings, technology guides, online forums and a comprehensive directory and networking service for brands and bloggers. Sister platform the Hispanic PR Blog will host most of the new web sites resources and content in a dedicated channel until Hispanicize.com officially debuts later this month.
Said Pagan, who will spearhead the company’s content creation and will co-manage the organization’s social media platform: “I love that our team is not only passionate and deeply wired into the social media industry but that we are also part of an organization that already produces the industry’s premier national conference. Our platform’s open approach will also be a key strength.”
Said Rivera, who as part of her role will specifically devote her energies to working with Latina mom and culture bloggers: “This is a team that has the substance to back up its talk and I like that because we’re going to be empowering Latina and Latino bloggers with the resources they need to succeed. The fact our group has three committed, well known bloggers gives us an opportunity to set an example.”
Hispanicize.com will be launching in two stages but in the meantime the web site will soon be accepting blogger registrations. By filling out the blogger registration form Latino and multicultural bloggers will be listed in the web site’s open directory and will have an opportunity to appear in a private directory that will be used by marketers to work with them directly.
In anticipation of its launch Hispanicize already has a Facebook Fan Page that brands, agencies, non-profits and bloggers can join at www.facebook.com/hispanicize. The Facebook Fan Page is an open forum.
