ESPN Deportes won two Sports Emmy Awards, presented for the 35th year by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in New York. In the first year of Spanish-language categories, two ESPN Deportes entries were recognized in the Best Studio Show category – SportsCenter and Nacion.

ESPN Deportes had four nominations this year including three for the first-ever Studio Show in Spanish category. Jose Ramon Fernandez was nominated in the first-ever On-Air Sports Personality in Spanish category.

In total, ESPN took home seven awards also including the 30 for 30 film series, X Games, E:60, SportsCenter and football’s College GameDay.

ESPN has now won 160 Sports Emmy Awards in 27 years of eligibility.
