Martin Cerda, Founder and Research Director of Encuesta, Inc., has been named the recipient of the 6th Annual HispanSource Award for Achievement in Hispanic Marketing Research.
The award was be presented by the James J. Hill Reference Library and Aguilar Productions at the 14th Annual Hispanic Marketing Midwest Conference held in Minneapolis, MN last week. Cerda is being recognized for a career spanning 25 years in U.S. Hispanic marketing and opinion research, and his commitment to the Latino community through the efforts of Encuesta, Inc. and the Americanos Poll. Past award recipients include Dr. Felipe Korzenny, Carlos Santiago, Carlos Garcia, Sonya Suarez-Hammond, and David Morse.
“Encuesta, Inc. and I are humbled by this recognition” said Cerda. “It is a privilege to be the “eyes and ears” of decision-makers, and as a researcher my efforts are always “behind-the-scenes” and rarely recognized. This award will inspire us to carry forward our important work and responsibility to our clients and the Latino community.”
Earlier this year, Cerda received a Great Mind Awards Certificate of Recognition from The Advertising Research Foundation (The ARF), acknowledging his company’s innovations in the area of Hispanic online research, and was also honored by The ARF with the David Ogilvy Award for his work on behalf of Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil and Bromley Communications (Silver Award in the Household Products Category).
