KNOXVILLE, Tenn.— Bush Brothers & Company will kick off regional grassroots efforts in May 2010 to bring Bush’s Beans to Hispanic moms and their families where they live, work, and play. The U.S. tour will travel around two regions: West Coast and Southwest/East markets.
The Bush’s mobile tours will spend several weeks in more than 10 cities sampling traditional bean recipes and engaging Hispanic families in events with chances to win children’s soccer gear, cooking tools, Bush’s Beans coupons and other giveaways and activities for families.
Also, in celebration of the upcoming soccer World Cup and with the soccer enthusiasm that this sports event generates among U.S. Hispanics, Bush’s Beans has partnered with Major League Soccer teams Chivas USA in Los Angeles and Chicago Fire in Chicago. Special player appearances will be scheduled for Los Angeles and Chicago during the 2010 mobile tour, where Chivas and Chicago Fire players will greet event participants and share their favorite family mealtime stories with fans.
Also, as part of the MLS Futbolito sponsorship in the Chicagoland area, families that attend the tournaments will have the opportunity to receive Bush’s Beans items. In addition, Bush’s Beans is the Title Sponsor of the Chicago Fire Team Cookbook: “Fire in the Kitchen.” The book will showcase recipes from the team’s favorite meals.
The campaign’s online efforts include a website where family’s can download an updated tour schedule, track family photos from the mobile tour, and a Facebook group: Facebook/frijolesbush.com.
