The deadline to submit campaigns for the First Annual Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards is February 28, 2011.   Billboard is inviting advertising agencies and record labels to submit, free or charge, their works by visiting www.BillboardLatinConference.com. The Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards are part of the 22nd Annual Billboard Latin Music Conference Presented by State Farm® to be held from April 26 to 28 at the Eden Roc Renaissance, Miami Beach, Florida.

Submissions for the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards will be judged by a panel of music industry experts in the areas of innovation, creativity, content and measurement. Finalists will be announced on March 18, 2011, and winners will be announced at the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards reception that will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at the Eden Roc Renaissance.

Billboard Latin Music Award Categories Include:
• Best Print Campaign
• Best Online or Social Campaign
• Best TV Campaign
• Best Tour Sponsorship
• Eligibility period: January 1, 2010 – December 31, 2010

By submitting their campaigns, agencies will receive a discounted registration to the conference. All finalists will be featured at the conference, while selected finalists will be invited to present their campaign. Winners will be honored at the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards reception, and will be featured in Billboard Magazine and Billboard.biz, with a link to their campaign and website.

In addition, the conference will also feature a Marketing Day to present special panels that highlight today’s most relevant topics. Marketing Day will feature exciting panels in the areas of: Effectiveness of Local Branding featuring a conversation with agencies and brands from Texas to Argentina; Marketing Business Studies from brands and digital marketers; The Art of Synching and Licensing, focused on how to get your track and artist on television, commercials and film; My Big Vast Social Network, optimizing and monetizing your social sites; and Sponsor Me, I’ll Play For You, demonstrating how to develop and maximize partnerships between artists and brands.
