Telemundo Communications Group announced the roster of sponsors lined up for “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm”, the network’s highest-rated entertainment special. The 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm will be broadcast live on Telemundo, Thursday, April 28, beginning with the red carpet at 7PM/6c from the BankUnited Center in Miami, Florida
For the third straight year, State Farm is the title sponsor of “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm,” under the theme “Tu Musica, Tu Ride.” Seamless State Farm integrations will be featured in the show and throughout the red carpet. In addition, Telemundo Stations Group and Billboard expanded the Billboard concert series from 5 markets in 2010 to 7 markets in 2011, sponsored by State Farm, including Chicago, New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. State Farm also renewed their digital sponsorship as the presenting sponsor for “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm” within Telemundo.com.

State Farm, Sprint and Burger King are co-sponsors of the Premios Billboard 2011 sweepstakes, featuring a grand prize trip to the awards show in Miami for one lucky winner and their guest.
Target and Billboard have again partnered this year to create the Billboard Latin Music Awards Finalists 2011 CD, available exclusively at Target and Target.com/Billboard beginning April 12, 2011. It includes songs by Enrique Iglesias featuring Juan Luis Guerra, Pedro Fernandez, Jenni Rivera, Wisin & Yandel, Banda Los Recoditos, Espinoza Paz, Larry Hernandez, Chino y Nacho, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón De René Camacho, Camila, Chayanne, Juan Luis Guerra, El Trono de Mexico and Ivy Queen.
The 2010 broadcast was a huge ratings success. According to Nielsen national audience estimates, “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm” drew over 5.3 million viewers (persons 2+), the third year in a row that the awards show reached more than 5 million viewers. More than 3.2 million Adults 18-49 tuned in, also the third consecutive year that the broadcast reached over 3 million viewers in this key demographic.
In 2010, “The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm” had one of the show’s highest deliveries in its 12-year history on Telemundo among Adults 18-49, Women 18-49 and Men 18-49. The broadcast averaged 1,254,000 Households, a +10% over 2009 (1,141,000).
